Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how QwikTik (“QwikTik”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, web dashboard, mobile apps, and APIs (together, the “Service”).

QwikTik provides booking-management software to service businesses (salons, clinics, technicians, tutors, and similar). Two groups interact with QwikTik:

• Business owners and staff who sign up for an account to manage their bookings.
• Customerswho book appointments through a business’s QwikTik booking page.

Information we collect

Account information (business owners + staff)

When you sign up we collect your name, email address, phone number, password (hashed; we never store the plain-text password), and business profile details such as business name, address, time zone, and currency.

Sign-in via Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address, profile picture) and a Google account identifier. We request only the email,profile, and openid OAuth scopes. We do not access, store, or use any of your other Google data (Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, etc.).

Customer information

When a customer books an appointment through a QwikTik booking page we collect their name, phone number, optional email address, and any answers to intake questions configured by the business. This information belongs to the business that operates the booking page; QwikTik processes it on the business’s behalf.

Booking, transaction, and invoice records

We store bookings, transactions, invoices, and related metadata (dates, services, staff assignments, amounts) so that businesses can manage their operations and produce legally required documents.

Technical information

We automatically collect device, browser, and usage information (IP address, user agent, screen size, the pages you view, and timestamps) for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics.

How we use information

• To operate the Service — create accounts, render booking pages, send confirmations, process payments, and produce invoices.
• To communicate with you about your account, bookings, billing, security, and product updates.
• To improve the Service — debug issues, prioritise features, and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax-invoice retention).

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer-booking data to advertise to customers.

Sharing

• Service providers who run infrastructure on our behalf — hosting (Cloudflare, our own VPS), email delivery (Resend), object storage (Cloudflare R2), and similar. These providers process data only as instructed by us.
• The business you book with — when you book on a QwikTik booking page, your booking and contact details are shared with that business.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud or harm.

Data retention

We keep account, booking, transaction, and invoice records for as long as the related business account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax and accounting rules. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time using the contact below; we will honour the request unless we’re required by law to retain it.

Security

We use TLS in transit, bcrypt for password hashing, and rotated access + refresh tokens for session management. Production databases and object storage are access-controlled and audited. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights.

Children

QwikTik is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from such children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our infrastructure is operated from multiple regions. By using the Service you consent to your information being transferred to, and processed in, those regions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
